About me
Currently
I’m a software engineer in Seattle. I write backend code and the
plumbing around it: CI pipelines, data jobs, auth flows, and
lately a lot of tooling for coding agents. When I’m not doing
that, I’m probably on
Spotify
or sending
pull requests
to other people’s projects.
What I look for in the next job:
- Software with moving parts. Background jobs, OAuth handshakes, data that has to sync, tools people leave open all day. I like the kind of system you can watch fail and then fix.
- Hard problems that matter to someone. For better or worse, I pick the difficult version if a user is waiting on it.
- A team that reviews code honestly and shares what it knows. I learn fastest next to people who explain their reasoning.
I’m on OPT and can relocate.
Previously
Software engineer at
Seattle University
· –
- Built CI/CD pipelines that run security scans before every deploy. Release cycles for the C# apps got 20% shorter.
- Automated build pipelines across AWS, TypeScript, and shell scripts. Delivery that used to take weeks of manual steps now takes hours.
- Planned deployments with research, IT, and operations staff, and wrote 12+ runbooks for the infrastructure.
Software engineer intern at Finkey Consultancy · –
- Built a Python and FastAPI pipeline on AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, and S3 that pulls 50k+ financial records from 15+ sources. Retrieval got 45% more efficient.
- Trained PyTorch models for anomaly detection and volatility forecasting, with OpenAI API summaries on top. Analysts spent 40% less time reviewing.
- Designed the REST endpoints and ETL jobs that load and query that data.
